Beyond the NEXT CHAPTER for Altadena Libraries
Note: Only accepting donations $250 and up
Thanks to the community’s overwhelming support of Measure Z, along with grant funding, we have been able to move forward with the long-awaited and badly-needed capital project improvements to both the Bob Lucas Memorial Library (reopened August 2025) and the Main Library (beginning early 2026).
As we complete these projects, we are also mindful that it is our responsibility to ensure that future maintenance, building repairs, and improvements will be planned for and funded.
That’s why the Altadena Library Foundation is raising funds to support our library buildings now and for years to come. Two identical walls at both library locations will showcase the names of community members who have helped ensure the future of our Altadena public libraries.
Your gift at the $250, $500, $1,000, $2,500 or above level will be honored with a book with your name or preferred acknowledgement, denoting your role as an author of the future of the Altadena Library District!
When you make your donation, please enter the name you’d like to appear on the wall (current limit is 25 characters); we’ll reach out to confirm with you before production.
If you’d like to discuss naming opportunities or other gifts, please reach out to nwinslow@altadenalibrary.org for more information on our naming policy and available spaces.
